Dr. Shaurin Patel | Board-Certified OB/GYN in Oklahoma City

Serving women in Oklahoma City, Edmond, and surrounding communities, Dr. Shaurin Patel is a board-certified OB/GYN dedicated to providing comprehensive and personalized care. Having been raised in Shawnee and Oklahoma City, he takes pride in caring for patients in the community he calls home.

His academic journey began at Boston University and the University of Oklahoma, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. He went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. Following medical school, he completed a General Surgery internship at Wayne State University in Detroit. He then pursued specialized training in Obstetrics and Gynecology, beginning with an internship at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York, and ultimately completing his OB/GYN residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Camden.

After residency, professional opportunities led him to a multi-specialty medical group in McAlester, Oklahoma, where he served as Chair of Obstetrics and Pediatrics for two years. Since 2012, he has maintained board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).

Personal Life

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Patel enjoys traveling, playing golf and basketball, and spending meaningful time with his wife and two daughters.
